Our Infants Programme at The Doors of Knowledge Academy (DOKA) provides a nurturing, structured environment where children ages 2–3 can grow in confidence, independence, communication and social skills while developing a love for learning and an early connection to Allah ﷻ.

Learning is centred around purposeful play, exploration, hands-on experiences, repetition and consistent routines, with activities adapted to each child's stage of development.

Islamic Curriculum

Islam is integrated throughout the children's daily experiences and is taught in an age-appropriate manner, rooted in the Qur’aan and authentic Sunnah.

Children are introduced to:

• Qur’aan: Listening to and memorising short surahs and selected verses.

• Aqeedah: Learning about Allah ﷻ as their Creator and Provider.

• Adhkaar & Du’aa: Learning simple daily adhkaar and supplications.

• Seerah & Hadith: Simple lessons from the life of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and authentic hadith.

• Islamic Manners & Character: Developing kindness, patience, respect and good manners.

• Arabic: Exposure to simple Arabic vocabulary, Islamic expressions and everyday instructions.

Early Childhood Development

Our programme incorporates a modified Trinidad and Tobago ECCE curriculum, with a focus on:

• Personal, social and emotional development

• Communication and language

• Early literacy and pre-writing skills

• Early mathematical concepts

• Physical and fine motor development

• Sensory exploration and understanding the world

• Independence and everyday life skills

• Creative and imaginative play

Our goal is to build the foundations children need for future learning while allowing them to learn and develop at an appropriate pace.

Programme Information & Fees

• Age: 2–3 years

• School Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–2:00 p.m.

• Registration Fee: $175

• Termly Tuition: $3,200

• Monthly Tuition: $950, payable over 11 months (September–July)

Additional Services & Extracurricular Options

• Potty Training - For children who are not yet potty trained - $400/term

• Before Care - Optional early drop-off from 7:30 a.m. - $400/term

• Swimming - Weekly swimming during school hours - $450/term​

​

Additional services are optional and charged separately from tuition.
